Hi! My name is Julian Leigh and I am a black, non-binary lesbian who has an interest in young adult animation. I’ve been inspired by anime, novels, video games, vampires, and computers and I love integrating these interests into my work.I’ve created a 7-channel animated installation with modified devices, including Nintendo DS’s, a mirror installation utilizing Nintendo 3DS’s, several character animations, character concepts and designs, conceptual art, and lots of psychological illustrations.The 7-channel installation, “Murders”, was officially selected in the New York Tri-State International Film Festival. Currently I’m working on a multimedia animation project for my thesis at Florida International University.My interests are primarily in cartoons and psychological horror, but any kind of story is one I’m ready to participate in!My style is adaptable, but I have more expertise in sketchy styles and painterly styles.
